Thousands of young people around the world have been rescued from vulnerable situations and raised in residential care homes. But too often these young people - in spite of years incredible investment and support - end up back in poverty, and so the cycle continues.
It shouldn’t be like this, and we are passionate to change this pattern.
Through our RAMP project we seek to enable vulnerable young people to become independent, self-sufficient and responsible young adults.
Whether through further studies or vocational training, we want our young people to have the opportunity to become more employable and fulfil their potential.
We teach young people skills they’ll need for everyday life, such as budgeting, paying bills and taking care of their health.
Our amazing mentors provide counselling and emotional support – helping our young people to process what they’ve been through and mentally prepare for independent life.
We believe the answer to poverty is personal, and so our vision is to see personal relationships transform an unjust world. The best things happen when we work together, changing both the lives of our young people and our supporters.
